Co-Founder of MAVEN

ERIN KUNKLE is the co-founder of MAVEN, where she serves as a speaker, podcaster, and board member. Since helping launch MAVEN in 2017, she has spoken to thousands of students and adults across the United States, addressing parenting, discipleship, apologetics, and contemporary cultural issues from a Christian worldview. Her speaking ministry has taken her to churches, conferences, schools, women’s events, homeschool communities, and ministry gatherings across the country. She also co-hosts the weekly MAVEN Parent Podcast, and provides coaching for homeschool parents.

Along with her work at MAVEN, Erin previously served as co-host of the Colson Center’s Strong Women Podcast, a national podcast with more than one million downloads annually where she interviewed a wide range of ministry, cultural, and thought leaders. She contributed a chapter “Sex Matters: Understanding the Differences Between Male and Female and Why It Is Good” in the book Truth: Lectures from the 2025 Defend Apologetics Conference.

Erin received her bachelor’s degree in social science from Biola University, with an emphasis in political science and minors in public policy and Bible. She is a veteran homeschooling mother of more than 20 years, teaches logic and apologetics through Sursum Corda Homeschool Cooperative, and serves on Sursum Corda School board. She has been married to her husband, Brett, for 28 years. Together they have five children and three grandchildren, and they live in Southern California.
