Session 1: Why I Am a Christian—An Introduction to Apologetics
In this session, we’ll look at the most common reasons Christians give for why they embrace Christianity and show how a skeptical world often shoots those reasons down. Then we’ll discuss the primary reason why we ought to embrace Christianity: because it’s true. Finally, we’ll discuss the importance of apologetics for Christians living in the 21st century.
Session 2: Truth Never Gets Old
Our culture is deeply confused about truth. In this session, we'll look at the nature of truth, distinguish objective truth from subjective truth, and then test our understanding of truth. Finally, we'll examine objections to truth and discover why the truth really matters.
Session 3: God, Are You Out There?
Do you have to take a blind leap of faith to believe in God? Or, is there compelling evidence that God is real? In this session, we’ll lay out arguments for God’s existence in a way that is understandable and shows that atheism is false.
Session 4: Why Should I Trust the Bible?
Why should anyone trust an ancient book written by a bunch of men? In this session we’ll show how the Bible has been passed down to us accurately through time, demonstrate why the Bible is the most historically reliable ancient document we have, and uncover God's divine fingerprints within the pages of this life-changing book.
Session 5: Is Jesus the Only Way?
Jesus’ claim that He is the way, the truth and the life is not only controversial to non-Christians, but many Christians struggle to make sense of it. In this session, we’ll look at some of the common objections to the exclusivity of Christ’s claims and then show why Jesus is the only way to God.
Session 6: The Allure of Good Questions When Discussing Your Faith
Afraid conversations about your Christian faith and values will turn into an argument, not a dialogue? Do you feel intimidated when you even think about talking to your non-Christian friends, family or co-workers about Christ? In this session, you’ll learn some very practical questions to help you engage others in friendly conversation about important things and be equipped to present the truth in an intelligent yet gracious way.
